Lash Extensions

As much as we wish we could click our heels and grow longer lashes, some of us simply have shorties—no matter how much mascara we apply. If you're a fan of false lashes, a longer-term solution exists: eyelash extensions. These semi-permanent, professionally applied extensions give you movie-star length for weeks at a time, and are totally customizable. Refills are required every few weeks to keep them FABULASH!

Lash Extension Full Set

Whether the look is more dramatic or more natural is up to you, but generally, the more lashes applied, the more dramatic the effect. A typical treatment involves anywhere from 80-140 individual extensions per eye, A full set is the initial appointment that provides coverage of every natural lash with a lash extension.

Lash Extension Refill

Essentially, lash fills are what you get when your lash extensions are starting to lose a bit of their fullness and luster. This will happen naturally over time, and that is when you go in for your lash fill appointment. A lash fill treatment involves applying fresh, individual lash extensions to new eyelashes in areas where there has been some fallout. Refills are required every 2-3 weeks and must have 40% of the set still intact to avoid purchasing a new full set.

What makes our Lash Service Luxurious?

The attention to detail. No full set is performed in under two and a half hours. No fill is performed in under two hours. This is so that each artist can guarantee 100% coverage of your natural lashes. This means a custom, hand made, lash extension fan is applied to every single natural eyelash that you have. The amount of time allotted for each appointment is what allows us to guarantee the best lash extension retention you could ever have! Our owner, Kaitlyn Francisco, has 15 years experience in the field of lash extensions and has been an accredited lash extension educator since opening S.H.E. Salon in 2017. Every lash artist in the salon has been certified six times through months of Mastermind training with S.H.E. Lash University.

Upon arrival:

- Artist will perform an in-depth lash bath treatment on each guest with PH balancing products to remove impurities and rebalance the natural lash PH. Lash adhesive will only fully bond with surfaces that have a PH level of 5 and below, this is part of what sets our retention apart!

- Artist will create a custom map on the guests lash line.

- Guest will receive 100% coverage of their natural lashes.

-Lash appointments will be performed for up to two hours.

- Lash appointments will be completed with a final treatment to fully cure the adhesive and remove all traces of residual fumes that could potentially lead to irritation.

- Guests lash sets, at two and a half, to three, weeks will still look complete with no holes or gaps.

The truth behind the 3 week lash refill rule:

Lashes have a life cycle consisting of three phases: the growth phase (anagen), the degradation phase (catagen) and the resting phase (telogen). Following the telogen phase, the lash falls out and the life cycle begins again with a new lash in the anagen phase. The average person sheds 2-5 natural lashes per eye, per day.

40% of the natural lashes are always in the anagen phase. This is the lash growth phase, where the natural lash is just beginning to sprout and grow. Those extensions should always last 45-90 days.
Telogen phases last 3-4 weeks. This is the last phase in the lash growth cycle before the natural lashes begin to shed. 20% of the lashes are always in the telogen phase.
Therefore 60% of the lashes SHOULD be lasting 60 days!
We have 90-160 lashes per eye.
At 3 weeks 72% of the natural lashes should be remaining since the guests last appointment. (If we started with 150 natural lashes that would mean 108 are left and only 42 have fallen out). This would be losing 2 lashes per day.
Even if we lost 3 lashes per day, at 3 weeks, 58% of the lashes should still be remaining since the guests last appointment. (That’s 87 natural lashes remaining, and 63 fell out).
